The Ferrari FXX is a high performance race car built by automobile manufacturer Ferrari in Maranello, Italy. The FXX is based on the street-legal Enzo. Production of the FXX began in 2005.

[edit] Overview

The car uses some technology developed from the Enzo and combines it with some all-new developments from Ferrari and some of the suppliers. However, the car is only a part of the overall program: customers pay $2.5 million but are only allowed to drive the car on special track days approved by Ferrari and after they drive the car they have to brief Ferrari on the car's performance. Ferrari's sister company, Maserati, has developed a similar car, the MC12 Corsa.

Essentially an evolution of the Enzo, the FXX shares some components with its parent car, but significant portions are unique to the FXX.

The FXX's engine is based on the Enzo's but has been expanded to 6,262 cc (6.3 L; 382.1 cu in) from 5,988 cc (6.0 L; 365.4 cu in), and output has been boosted from 660 PS (485.4 kW; 651.0 hp), as seen in the Enzo, to 812 PS (597.2 kW; 800.9 hp) at 8,500 rpm.

The gearbox incorporates the latest developments from Ferrari's F1 program and has a shift time under 100 ms. The brake pads are upgraded compared to those on the Enzo. It does, however, retain the Carbon fibre-reinforced Silicon Carbide (C/SiC) ceramic composite discs found on the Enzo.

The tires on the FXX are 19 inch slicks custom-developed for the car.

As with the Enzo, the seat and pedal configuration are custom fit to the user's exact measurements.

The FXX features a comprehensive data-monitoring and telemetry that not only allows the driver to improve performance, but also provides Ferrari technicians with valuable data to improve the FXX and future road-going Ferraris.

Ferrari has built 30, expanding the original 29 that were planned. These have all been sold to pre-selected past Ferrari customers, with the exception of one which was retained by Ferrari S.p.A. Ferrari's F1 World Champion driver, Michael Schumacher, received the 30th when he retired from Formula One racing at the end of 2006. Schumacher's FXX differs from others in that it is the only black FXX without a stripe, it comes with red trim on the wheels, it has matte exhaust tips (regular FXX's have chrome tips), and his personal logo is stitched on the racing seats.

FXX owners also participate in Ferrari's testing and brand development programs. As part of the FXX program, the car is maintained by the Ferrari factory. The purpose of this particular program is to allow Ferrari's top customers exclusive access to its most up-to-date technology and to use their input to help develop future models. The models are only sold in Europe and can be imported, but not owned in any other continent. The FXX was reported to cost 1.5 million euro (excluding taxes) (2.1mil USD),[1] for the car and the services that Ferrari provides with it.

The Ferrari FXX program will continue until 2008/2009. The car will continue to be improved under the Evolution kit, which will continually adjust specifics to create more power, change gearing, and lower the aerodynamic drag. The V12 engine will generate 860 PS (630 kW; 850 hp) at 9500 rpm which boosts the top speed to 387 km/h (240 mph).And 0-100 km\h 2.8 second. There will be gearbox changes so that shift time will be reduced to 60 milliseconds per shift, a reduction of 40 milliseconds. The car will also undergo aerodynamic changes and improvements to the traction control system.[3]

The black unstriped Ferrari FXX, owned by Michael Schumacher, was exhibited on the BBC's Top Gear show on 21 June 2009. The car completed the circuit in a time of 1 minute 10.7 seconds. The episode ended with the Ferrari FXX in top place on the board, ostensibly beating the previous record of 1 minute 17.1 seconds previously held by a Gumpert Apollo S[4]. However the time was not kept as the FXX is not street legal.

guasunyaragi

Sunyaragi adalah nama suatu Cagar Budaya Indonesia yang unik. Sunyaragi berlokasi di kelurahan Sunyaragi, Kesambi, Kota Cirebon dimana terdapat bangunan mirip candi yang disebut Gua Sunyaragi, atau Taman Air Sunyaragi, atau sering disebut sebgaai Tamansari Sunyaragi. Nama "Sunyaragi" berasal dari kata "sunya" yang artinya adalah sepi dan "ragi" yang berarti raga, keduanya adalah bahasa Sansekerta. Tujuan utama didirikannya gua tersebut adalah sebagai tempat beristirahat dan meditasi para Sultan Cirebon dan keluarganya.

Gua Sunyaragi merupakan salah satu benda cagar budaya yang berada di Kota Cirebon dengan luas sekitar 15 hektar. Objek cagar budaya ini berada di sisi jalan by pass Brigjen Dharsono, Cirebon. Konstruksi dan komposisi bangunan situs ini merupakan sebuah taman air. Karena itu Gua Sunyaragi disebut taman air gua Sunyaragi. Pada zaman dahulu kompleks gua tersebut dikelilingi oleh danau yaitu Danau Jati. Lokasi dimana dulu terdapat Danau Jati saat ini sudah mengering dan dilalui jalan by pass Brigjen Dharsono, sungai Situngkul, lokasi Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gas, Sunyaragi milik PLN, persawahan dan menjadi pemukiman penduduk. Selain itu di gua tersebut banyak terdapat air terjun buatan sebagai penghias, dan hiasan taman seperti Gajah, patung wanita Perawan Sunti, dan Patung Garuda. Gua Sunyaragi merupakan salah satu bagian dari keraton Pakungwati sekarang bernama keraton Kasepuhan.

Kompleks tamansari Sunyaragi ini terbagi menjadi dua bagian yaitu pesanggrahan dan bangunan gua. Bagian pesanggrahan dilengkapi dengan serambi, ruang tidur, kamar mandi, kamar rias, ruang ibadah dan dikelilingi oleh taman lengkap dengan kolam. Bangunan gua-gua berbentuk gunung-gunungan, dilengkapi terowongan penghubung bawah tanah dan saluran air. Bagian luar komplek aku bermotif batu karang dan awan. Pintu gerbang luar berbentuk candi bentar dan pintu dalamnya berbentuk paduraksa.


Induk seluruh gua bernama Gua Peteng (Gua Gelap) yang digunakan untuk bersemadi. Selain itu ada Gua Pande Kemasan yang khusus digunakan untuk bengkel kerja pembuatan senjata sekaligus tempat penyimpanannya. Perbekalan dan makanan prajurit disimpan di Gua Pawon. Gua Pengawal yang berada di bagian bawah untuk tempat berjaga para pengawal. Saat Sultan menerima bawahan untuk bermufakat, digunakan Bangsal Jinem, akan tetapi kala Sultan beristirahat di Mande Beling. Sedang Gua Padang Ati (Hati Terang), khusus tempat bertapa para Sultan.

Walaupun berubah-ubah fungsinya menurut kehendak penguasa pada zamannya, secara garis besar Tamansari Sunyaragi adalah taman tempat para pembesar keraton dan prajurit keraton bertapa untuk meningkatkan ilmu kanuragan. Bagian-bagiannya terdiri dari 12 antara lain (lihat denah):

(1)bangsal jinem, tempat sultan memberi wejangan sekaligus melihat prajurit berlatih; (2) goa pengawal, tempat berkumpul par apengawal sultan; (3) kompleks Mande Kemasan (sebagain hancur); (4) goa Pandekemasang, tempat membuat senjata tajam; (5) goa Simanyang, tempat pos penjagaan; (6) goa Langse, tempat bersantai; (7) goa peteng, tempat nyepi untuk kekebalan tubuh; (8) goa Arga Jumud, tempat orang penting keraton; (9) goa Padang Ati, tempat bersemedi; (10) goa Kelanggengan, tempat bersemedi agar langgeng jabatan; (11)goa Lawa, tempat khusus kelelawar; (12) goa pawon, dapur penyimpanan makanan.
